Surge Society Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Surge Society, we value your time and commitment — and we ask the same in return. Our classes have limited spots, so we strictly enforce the following cancellation and refund policies:

Class Cancellations

• Cancellations must be made at least 6 hours before class time.
  

• If you cancel 6+ hours before class, your class credit will be returned to your account for future use.

• If you cancel within 6 hours of class or do not show up, the class will be forfeited and no credit or refund will be issued.

Late Arrivals & No-Shows

• Studio Arrival Policy

  For safety and efficiency, clients may enter the studio no more than 10 minutes prior to class start time.

  We may be transitioning between classes or completing the necessary harness and equipment setup. Bungee fitness requires extensive preparation, and early arrivals disrupt this process.

  We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain our high standards.

• Late arrivals (5+ minutes after start time) will not be permitted for safety reasons and will be marked as a no-show.

Unlimited Membership Booking Policy

Unlimited memberships allow frequent booking, but due to limited bungee availability, we ask members to book responsibly.

• Please cancel your class at least 6 hours before the scheduled start time.

• No-shows or late cancellations (within 6 hours of class) will count as a missed class.

• After 2 missed classes within a rolling 30-day period, unlimited members will temporarily lose advance booking privileges for 14 days.

• Repeated no-shows may result in further booking restrictions or suspension of unlimited access without refund.

This policy helps ensure fair access to classes for all members.

Memberships & Packages

• All sales are final. Memberships and class packages are non-refundable.

• Class packages expire 3 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.

• Unlimited memberships are billed automatically and may be canceled with at least 7 days’ notice before the next billing cycle.

Private Parties & Events

• A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date.

• The remaining balance is due 10 days prior to the event.

• Cancellations made more than 10 days before the event may reschedule once at no charge.

• Cancellations made within 10 days of the event will forfeit all payments.

Studio Cancellations

If Surge Society must cancel a class or event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. weather, instructor illness), participants will keep their class credit and will be able to reschedule.

Private parties cancelled due to weather/safety will be able to reschedule based on availability, but the studio will work with the client to make a date work!

Refunds

All classes, memberships, packages, and retail purchases are non-refundable.

Refunds are only issued if required by law or in the event of studio-related or administrative error, including:

• Studio-initiated class cancellation with no comparable alternative (unsafe weather conditions is excluded)

• Duplicate or incorrect charges

• Booking or system error caused by Surge Society

Refund discretion does not apply to client circumstances, including but not limited to illness, injury, pregnancy, scheduling conflicts, travel, or change of mind.

In these cases, Surge Society may offer rescheduling, credit transfer, account credit, or a temporary hold at its sole discretion.

All decisions regarding refunds are final.

Equipment Safety & Eligibility Policy

Participation in bungee fitness classes is subject to manufacturer equipment safety limits, including weight and height requirements. These limits are strictly enforced to ensure the safety of all participants.

If a participant is unable to take part in a class due to equipment safety restrictions, Surge Society reserves the right to deny participation. In such cases, memberships and class purchases are non-refundable; however, at the studio’s discretion, alternative options such as account credit, class conversion, or membership holds may be offered.

All eligibility determinations are made privately and respectfully, with safety as the top priority.
